| Hola a todos, sabemos que las embarcaciones en uso por el Reino Unido en 1982 habían sufrido modificaciones varias para ganar entre otras cosas velocidad por sobre mayor protección. Es por ello que seguramente todo personal de a bordo contaba con una máscara da gas, filtros, guantes antiflama y esta máscara. Es un modelo que según pudo observar es muy similar en muchos ejércitos y posiblemente no a cambiado mucho hasta hoy. Pero lo que quiero compartir con ustedes es que lo observo también en personal Royal Marines una vez ya desembarcados. Al igual que los guantes blancos, esta máscara también lo es, con lo que choca un poco a la hora de contemplar mejor enmascaramiento. Posiblemente se haya hecho uso de la misma por ser pieza muy grande y que cubre gran cantidad de cuello, pecho y nuca, muy de agradecer en los fuertes vientos de las islas. Lamentablemente en mi archivo fotográfico no cuento con ninguna que pueda complementar lo que digo, pero estoy seguro que he visto al menos dos fotos con personal RM haciendo uso de este elemento.
