Amazing selection of paratrooper helmets.
Greetings.
No doubt the British helmet and how to camouflage are trademarks of the world militaria.
I like the standard USMC cover, in the English helmet.

juan pablo.

RAF R G; took the opportunity to check your opinion about paratroopers helmet on my property. is training helmet? when used?

HI Juan-Pablo, Thank you for the kind words . The helmet you posted is intresting ,it was issued from early 60,s it is catalogued as a training helmet but was used a lot by SF UNITS ,PATHFINDERS + PARACHUTE INSTRUCTORS for HALO jumps. It exisits in 16 sizes! they are now hard to find even in the UK.

Hello Teysseire1972, it fences in piece they had thereabouts, it did not know it, I congratulate and ask you, it is dated in ' 94? RAF GEGIMENT GUNNER, very good your hull also, did not know of the resource of Cover above. Does it seem that there is cork in the interior? Thank you very much for sharing it.

Hi Natcho , yes the interior is made from cork. The date does here look like 94 but it may be a miss print however it is possible
cheers

HI HHD ,Firstly congratulations on your excellent English, it is a great help to me The MkVI was officialy issued in November 82 ,the program to develop a ballistic fibre helmet for Great Briton started around 1975 approximately 16 models were tried! The helmets issue was speeded up because of the findings of the 82 conflict along with the scandal of the poor boots DMS .I have an experimental MkVI with a single elastic strap like the MkV I will post it soon along with a first issue type,
I hope this helps
Ollie

Hi RRG: Thanks for your compliments and information, I just find a new photo (surely you know it) showing the same configuration of camouflage on a "Para" helmet like yours, with laces and net on a camp cover.
