| In the British Army we could eat a combination of the 1 man 24hrs ration pack or the 4 or 10 man packs for a maximum of 30 days. Usually they were supplemented with fresh bread or potatoes, but after about a week going for a no2 was quite difficult as the rations bunged you up.
