Hace tiempo que tengo una inquietud, que no es otra qué el uniforme de las fuerzas aereas. Teniendo en cuenta que hay muy pocas imagenes y poca bibliografía sobre esto, es complicado saber que modelos o denominaciones tenían durante el conflicto. En EBAY suele haber modelos de chaquetas en DPM con un patrón posterior al patrón 1968. Mi duda es si estas chaquetas en tejido DPM eran patrón 1968 o no. Espero que alguién pueda arrojar luz sobre esto o aportar imagenes o información. Desde ya, muchas gracias.

Aquí está una foto del traje impermeable reversible verde/blanco, hacia el exterior lado blanco desgastado. Este juego parece que raramente han sido fotografiados usado de esta manera. Tenga en cuenta algunas características tempranos aquí. El vellón muy pálido en el casquillo ECW, el color blanco estera y el primer fotograma del patrón de la mochila del Ártico Bergen. Here is a photo of the green/white reversible waterproof suit, worn white side outwards. This suit seems to have rarely been photographed worn this way. Note some early features here. The very pale fleece on the ECW cap, the white colour sleeping mat and the first pattern frame of the Arctic Bergen rucksack. The Royal Marine is also wearing Norwegian pattern snow gaiters and Boots Ski/March. He also has a pair of issue pattern skis, nicknamed 'pussers planks'
The other interesting point is the contrast of colour between the less well.used trousers of this waterproof suit and the jacket that has clearly been more used. Also keep worth noting that even when they were new, the white inner coating already seems to be flaking off in this photo!

From the features shown I would guess the photo dates to around 1976-77

Está fechada en 1971, lo cual indica que hasta el conflicto, podrían haberse fabricado muchas como esta, aunque en la práctica no es así, porque son muy difíciles de localizar, y si hablamos del smock, ya sería peor. Tal como dice Ollie, la foto de la boina está inspirada en un SAS a bordo de un barco, lo que ocurre es que no teníamos ni un triste velero aunque seguro que Daniel podría darle "solución" a eso
Por otro lado quiero aclarar que cometí un error al decir tareas defensivas, ya que me refería a observación, en las cuales, permanecían durante semanas, camuflados, transmitiendo los movimientos de las fuerzas enemigas
Respecto a Coventry, no creo que pueda ir mientras mi situación laboral no cambie, pero es algo que volveré a hacer en cuanto pueda.

As stated Ollie, pictured beret is inspired by a SAS on board a boat, what happens is that we did not have a sad sailboat sure;) but Daniel could give "solution" to that: D
On the other hand I want to clarify that I made a mistake by saying defensive duties, and observation I meant, where they remained for weeks, camouflaged, transmitting the movements of the Argentine forces

Quería compartir con vosotros una foto que encontré y me pareció fascinante. En ella, se aprecian a dos integrantes de la royal navy, posando con todo su equipo y demás elementos. Esta foto me hizo pensar que también hay que mostrar y hablar sobre estos valientes soldados que apoyaron y lucharon, a las demás tropas, desde el sitio más "frágil" y castigado. No sé mucho sobre la uniformidad naval, pero creo que las prendas son ignífugas o resistentes al calor extremo, al igual que los guantes y capucha. Usaban ropa de de abrigo en tejido windproof y la funda de la mascara S6, al igual que otras unidades.

Me gustaría mostrar unas fotos de un miembro del SAS, ambientado en el conflicto. Es sabido que realizaron varias tareas, tanto ofensivas como defensivas, siendo esta última, en la que baso la uniformidad.
Prendas de cabeza: Boina color arena, gorro con orejeras DPM, gorro de lana o BOB y balaclava
Superior: Chaqueta windproof modelo SAS y red de camuflaje en 2 colores
Inferior: Pantalones windproof modelo SAS
Calzado: Botas de montaña años 80 junto a polainas altas
Equipo: Modelo específico del SAS que comprende cinturón modificado, porta cargadores doble, bolsillo de evasión/Escape, funda de altímetro, riñonera individual modificada, cantimploras 44 y funda modificada.
Armamento: M16 A1 y cuchillo de supervivencia
Radio: PRC350
Agradecimientos al buen fotógrafo Ignacio Cambre...sin él, nada de esto hubiera sido posible.
