| Hola jale,
Hello Tug,
I will try to upload some photographs later when I return from work. I to was fairly sceptical about the paintwork, but in for a penny in for a pound as they say. The overall green paint is all over both the outside and inside, there is just one layer of paint, no base coat and no evidence of any other paint having been applied at anytime. I have looked all over and there is definitely no rubbing marks from sandpaper. Although both the eBay pictures and the ones above do not make it very clear, the pitting is evident all over including through the blue/white paint. It is without doubt an FM shell, 6 x weld spots on the rim, plus the seem welds at the rear. The paint and the rust underneath are very old, as since I received it and living in wet West Wales it has unfortunately developed 2 new small rust spots which are particularly noticeable as they are rust red not the old dark black rust as originally in place. Whatever it's origin, the paintwork is most definitely many years old. To determine the originality it has to be seen as I decided to do, albeit for £70. All the best, Bob
