I don't suppose there was any need to take the knives out of the sheaths for any reason. I have another friend who has one that was recovered without a sheath and the blade has suffered from the elements. What I have noticed is the tip of the blades on the ones the same as mine is very easily damaged

Hasta donde sabemos hay 3 modelos de hojas en el cuchillo FM AB-0200, los 3 ya en produccion para 1981 (sin contar los prototipos o "experimentales"):
El de arriba seria el 1er modelo, el unico con nro. de serie y raiz del filo recto.
El del medio seria el 2do modelo, ya con raiz del filo semicircular pero conservando la punta de la hoja aguzada.
El de abajo sería el 3er modelo, con corte semicircular pero con la punta de la hoja considerablemente mas ancha, que se mantuvo en producción al menos hasta 1989.
As far as we know there are 3 models of blades on the FM AB-0200 knife, all already in production for 1981 (not considering the prototypes or "experimental" ones):
The top one would be the 1st model, the only one with serial number and straight backcut.
The one in the middle would be the 2nd model, with a semicircular backcut but keeping the pointed blade tip.
The bottom one would be the 3rd model, with semicircular backcut but with a considerably wider blade tip, which remained in production until at least 1989.
